Who can attend?

Stem Cells in Neuroscience is aimed not only at PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty members, and clinicians working in the field of neuroscience and stem cell research, but also those working in related fields.

In case the event is overbooked, we reserve the right to select participants based on review of their abstract.

Abstract selection and presentation

The committee will review all submitted abstracts. Notification regarding abstract acceptance will be sent to the submitting author in early December 2025.

Oral presentation

15 talks will be selected from the abstracts.

Poster presentation

Two poster sessions are planned. Posters should be in the A0 format, vertical (portrait) orientation.

Registration fee

Accepted participants are required to pay the registration fee of 100€ by 31st of December 2025. Details of the payment process will be provided upon acceptance of the abstract.

Travel stipends

Up to ten travel stipends are available (each 200€) to support young scientists. A scientific committee will select the recipients of the stipends during the abstract selection process.

Keynote Speakers

Confirmed keynote speakers: They all utilize stem cells to investigate neurosciece, from development to neurodegeneration and beyond.

Workshops

These workshops provide training in essential “soft skills” and encourage critical thinking and discussion.
